Aylesbury nr Grimsby pine parquet floor sanding
This floor was found under a carpet in a property in Aylesbury Lincolnshire, our clients were delighted to know we could sand and refinish the floor.
The floor is a pine block parquet, and ran through the whole of the ground floor, the floor was in worn aged condition.
We sanded the parquet floor several times moving up the abrasive grits, with our dust free floor sanding equipment, removing the old floor coating, dirt and damage to the floor.
We then floor polished the parquet blocks to a silky smooth finish ready for finishing with a hardwax oil.
You can see in one of the finished photos a dark area, this is in the kitchen where the sink had leaked over the years, even with a good sanding you are never guaranteed to remove all contaminates with in the grain of the parquet blocks, in this case the patch was not a problem as the kitchen would be re fitted in its original position over the darker area.
